Sofia Busquets was born in Argentina and grew up in Mexico. She discovered what it means to be a child of the third culture. She worked hard to adapt to the Mexican way of life and family culture. She gradually developed her sense of identity and became aware of the uniqueness of her experience.
A year spent in the English countryside and a year in Los Angeles made her aware of her status as a foreigner.
Her studies at the Rome International Film School in Italy gave her an extraordinary opportunity to learn what it takes to make a film and to experiment with different roles.
